The IET Wiring Regulations. The standard this qualification is examined against, and the book you take into the open book paper. There is no substitute for having your own copy.
IET Guidance Note 3 — Inspection & Testing
The IET guidance that expands on Part 6, including model forms and expected test values. The companion volume most 2391 candidates work from alongside the regulations.
HSE Guidance Note GS38 — Electrical test equipment for use by electricians
Free from the HSE. The source for test probe, lead, fusing and measurement-category requirements. Short, and worth reading in full at least once.
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (and HSE guidance HSR25)
The statutory instrument behind the whole subject. Regulations 4, 12, 13, 14 and 16 come up repeatedly.

The awarding body's own syllabus and assessment documentation. Always check the current version for exam structure and entry requirements — those can change, and this site is not the awarding body.
